ArtProv Gallery — one of Providence’s top art studios and galleries has announced it is closing. The loss of the gallery is a hit to the art community. The location is a feature on Providence’s Gallery Nights.

The gallery announced this weekend:

It’s always sad on the last day of a show. Today is especially sad as it is the last day the gallery will be open. Due to health reasons, we’ll be closing. While I don’t know what the future holds for ArtProv Gallery — maybe a new iteration of ArtProv — time will tell.

Nick and I have enjoyed running the gallery and being a part of the Providence artistic community these past five years.

Thank you to all the artists who showed here and trusted us with their artwork.

And thank you for your patronage of the gallery and the artists. Please continue to support your local artists.

Special thanks to Victoria Rogers and Nicholas DuPont for running the gallery these past two months.  ❤️
