Providence Police were on the scene at Westminster and Dorrance Streets next to the Federal Reserve Building at 4 PM and began to evacuate the street.

A woman across the street that said she worked at the Washington Trust Bank said a beeping sound was reported coming from a deposit box and that the police were called.

Update at 4:15 PM: Providence Police started to clear the Westminster Street area after a search outside of the Washington Trust branch. Police and fire are still in the area, but normal traffic has been allowed to resume.
